The organization was formalized, legalized, and recognized by relevant government agencies such as the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) and the Department of Education (DepED). During this time, we also began expanding our initiatives and programs to include private companies, cooperatives, and civil society organizations.

ACERT began in 2015 when a group of like-minded professionals organized detailed lifelong learning programs such as workshops and seminars. These programs were designed for professionals including educators, corporate leaders, select administrators in Philippine government agencies, and some international groups.
